Volunteering

We offer lots different offer community projects for you to get involved with! These are fantastic opportunities to build confidence, gain teamwork, leadership, public speaking skills and so much more whilst making a lasting impact on communities across Winchester and beyond.

Schools Plus

Schools Plus is our tutoring project that sees Winchester students tutoring pupils in both primary and secondary schools. Find out more about Schools Plus and apply to volunteer.

Woolly Matters

Woolly Matters are knitters and crocheters (including beginners!) who come together to create for the local community. Find our more about Woolly Matters.

Give It a Go

Skilled Placements

The Social Innovation Programme

SIP is a six-week consultancy placement to learn about relevent social issues and building experience research and solving real-life challenges within local organisation. Find out more about the Social Innovation Programme and apply!

Alongside running volunteering opportunities and placements, Winchester Hub incubates new projects. In practice, this means we work with students and community partners to launch innovative ideas which tackle local social and environmental issues.
