Support your local community in this time of need.

Winchester Hub are currently organising responsive volunteering opportunities to help assist with young children and the elderly in the local community.

We are keen to hear from students that are interested in taking part in any of the following activities:

  • Phone volunteering to help socially isolated older adults
  • Tutoring local young people that are isolating at home
  • Delivering food to those in self-isolation
  • Creating care packages for high-risk individuals (i.e. a book you enjoyed reading, a game for people to play, a candle etc.)
  • Knit some baby booties for the hospital
  • Complete a random act of kindness (and tag us in it - see here for more information)

We are currently contacting our partners, figuring out practicalities and reviewing our safeguarding policy. In the meantime, we want to hear from you! If you are interested in getting involved and offering support to respond to these new and emerging social issues please register your interest. You don't have to be in Winchester Hub, you just need access to a laptop and be willing to help.

Please note, we can't guarantee these activities will go ahead because we are currently assessing what is possible. By filling out this form, we can keep you updated on important milestones, and email you the next steps when we receive confirmation. If you have any questions, please email hello@winchesterhub.org.
