Charity Challenge is BACK for 2020!

Join other students for a one-off challenge for a local charity. If you are interested in this event and want to get involved, click APPLY above!

Why Join?

  • Help a local charity come up with innovative solutions to a problem

  • Gain valuable skills in teamwork, problem solving, and pitching (great for your CV!)

  • Gain experience in the third (charity) sector

  • Meet new people!

What happens?

On the day you will be put into groups and given your brief by the chosen charity (to be accounced). You will then have three hours to work on a solution ready to present back to the charity at the end of the day. The winning team will be announced and you'll be able to see how your ideas could work in the real world!

Accessibility

The Charity Challenge is committed to being an inclusive programme, and encourages all students to get involved. All expenses are reimbursed and we can make reasonable adjustments to our activities on a case-by-case basis. Please read our safe space policy here.

We also provide ongoing support for the students we work with, so if you have particular accessibility needs, including if you want to disclose a disability or special educational needs, please do get in touch with Sorcha at hello@winchesterhub.org and let us know how we can make the activity more accessible.

Any Questions?

If you have any questions about the application or the day itself, please email our Skilled Placement co-ordinator Michael Salmon at skilledplacements@winchesterhub.org.
